Medicaid Estate Recovery Alert

The State of Indiana has just posted a Request For Proposal to hire attorneys to help recover assets from the families of deceased Medicaid beneficiaries.  Proposals are due in by August 8, 2011.  Medicaid beneficiaries and their families should now expect the State of Indiana to adopt a much more aggressive approach to Medicaid estate recovery starting this fall.
